About me

I began painting in the summer of 2024 as a hobby to get away from the stress of my day job as an audio engineer and film composer, and after a severe illness in 2022 nearly ended my life (no, not that one). Coming back from that wasn't as easy as the movies make it out to be. Returning to "normal" wasn't going to happen quickly, if ever, so I had to make some changes.

Though I enjoyed drawing throughout childhood, I never had any interest in painting. But on a whim, I decided to give it a try and loved it. I started watching other artists' tutorials online, reading, and practicing. Just over a year later, and I am presenting my work for sale. My focus is on landscapes - from mountain to sea. I am also working on a series of rural Kentucky and farm landscapes.
